Pelouse Sacrée Privacy Policy
Version 1 — 22 October 2026. It applies to the Pelouse Sacrée app and to the pelousesacree.com website.
1. In short
- You need no account to follow a tournament: we ask you for nothing.
- To run a tournament, we only ask for your display name, your phone number, a password and, if you wish, a recovery email.
- Tournaments are public: their teams, matches and scores can be seen by anyone.
- We do not sell your data, we do not show ads and we do not use your data to target you.
- You can delete your account at any time, in the app or at pelousesacree.com/delete-account.
2. Who is responsible for your data
Pelouse Sacrée is published by Thierno Younoussa Barry, an individual entrepreneur trading as TYSO TECH, Hamdallaye, Ratoma, Conakry, Republic of Guinea (“we”). For any question about your data: [email protected].
3. The data we process, and why
3.1 If you follow tournaments without an account
- Followed tournaments and recent searches: kept only on your phone, never sent to our servers.
- What you type in the search: sent to find tournaments, without being stored with your identity.
3.2 If you create an organiser account
- Display name: shown as “by …” on your tournaments. It is public.
- Phone number: used as your sign-in identifier. It is never shown to other users.
- Password: stored in an encrypted form that cannot be read back.
- Recovery email (optional): used only to send you a code if you forget your password. It is never shown to other users.
- Chosen language.
3.3 What organisers publish
Tournament name and venue, dates, rules, team names and logos, player numbers, player names (optional), referee name (optional), fixtures, match events (goals, cards, substitutions) and tables. This information is public.
- Logos: only the photo you choose is used; it is reduced on your phone, then published. The app does not read your other photos.
- The organiser can hide player names (the “Show player names” setting): the public then sees only numbers. We recommend doing so for every youth tournament.
- The organiser can remove a tournament from search. The tournament then remains open to anyone who has its link: it is “unlisted”, not secret.
3.4 Technical data
- Error reports (Sentry): phone model, Android and app version, technical description of the error. We configure them so that they contain no name, number, email or typed text.
- Usage measurements (PostHog): a few selected actions (for example “tournament created” or “result shared”) to improve the app, with a random identifier and an anonymised IP address. No screen recording.
- Device identifier: a random identifier created by the app, attached to match events to avoid duplicates when two phones record the same match.
- Server security logs (IP address, date, operation), used to protect the service against abuse.
- The pelousesacree.com website uses no advertising or audience-measurement cookies.
4. On what basis we use them
- Providing the service you ask for: account, tournaments, publication of results, account recovery.
- Our legitimate interest in protecting and improving the service: security, error reports, limited usage measurements.
- Compliance with the law, when a competent authority lawfully asks us.
5. Names of players and referees
Players and referees have no account: the organiser enters their information. The organiser undertakes to have the right to publish it and, for a minor, their parents' consent; otherwise, the organiser hides the names. A player or referee can ask us to remove their name at [email protected]: we remove it, and the number stays in the match history.
6. Who receives your data
We neither sell nor rent any data. Only these technical providers process it, on our behalf and following our instructions:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and logo storage — servers in Paris (France).
- Sentry: error reports — servers in the European Union.
- PostHog: usage measurements — servers in the European Union.
- Brevo: sending recovery codes — servers in the European Union.
- Cloudflare: domain name and the pelousesacree.com website.
- Zoho Mail: our mailbox, to answer your emails — servers in the United States.
- WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to write to us on WhatsApp, for example to recover your account.
- Google: distribution of the app through Google Play.
App data (accounts, tournaments, logos, error reports and usage measurements) is hosted in the European Union, which offers a high level of protection. Emails you send us are stored by Zoho Mail in the United States and, if you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by Meta, which may process them outside the European Union. The pelousesacree.com website runs through Cloudflare's global network. The Pelouse Sacrée team may access the data from Guinea to run the service.
7. How long we keep it
- Account: as long as you keep it. On deletion, your name, number, email and password are erased immediately.
- Tournaments: a tournament that never started is erased with your account. A started tournament remains visible with “Organiser deleted”, because the teams and their fans rely on it; its match events remain, with no link to your account.
- Recovery code: 1 hour at most.
- Recovery requests by WhatsApp or email: 12 months, so that we can answer any dispute.
- Error reports: 90 days at most. Usage measurements: 24 months at most. Security logs: 90 days at most.
- Security backups: erased data may remain in them for up to 7 days, until the backup is replaced.
8. Security
Encrypted connections; passwords stored in encrypted form; access rights checked by the database itself for every piece of information; administration accounts protected by two-step verification. No system is perfect: if a breach affected your data, we would inform you as soon as possible.
9. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- view and correct your name, email and language in “My profile”;
- delete your account in “My profile” or at pelousesacree.com/delete-account;
- ask us for a copy of your data, its correction or erasure, or object to a processing, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days;
- contact the data protection authority of your country.
10. Minimum age
Following a tournament requires no account. To create an organiser account, you must be at least 16, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
11. Changes
If this policy changes significantly, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. The version date appears at the top of this page.
